TC Electronic's new FireWire audio interface--the Impact Twin. My review coming on homestudioguru.com!
Dark because, well, this is what it's like when DJing in a dark club or other venue.
Numark NS7 on the right
CDJs and master mixer in the middle
Wireless mic & recording rack on the left
Music library stored on the DroboPro
Strobist info: first strobe hanging from boom at ceiling height over the mixer with barndoors to reduce light spill on back wall. Second strobe on floor below camera with closed-up barndoors and 5 degree grid to eluminate the DroboPro. Both strobes at minimum power. Two second exposure to capture the lights on the equipment.
Got myself a new toy to replace my old and faithful Korg DT-10 which gave up on me yesterday. This TC Electronic Polytune is so awesome! Strum, tune and rock!

This is my “always on” pedal. The TC Electronic Spark Mini is a clean/transparent boost pedal that can add up to 20db to your signal. It doesn’t color your original tone much. I use it not only as a slight volume boost but more for the added presence/sparkle and brilliance it adds to the tone of my guitars. Probably one of my desert island pedal :)
Last night we popped down to The Forum in Kentish Town, London, to meet up with Harry McVeigh (guitarist and front man of White Lies).
He was kind enough to let us take this photo during soundcheck, stay tuned for the video interview with Harry coming soon!
