El año que viene en Tánger

Zu den wohl ungewöhnlichsten Anschlussgleisen im Hexagon gehört zweifelsohne dasjenige des Lafarge-Zementwerks im südfranzösischen Port-la-Nouvelle (vgl. www.flickr.com/photos/132444999@N07/31954363012/in/album-... ). Es zweigt am nordwestlichen Bahnhofskopf von den Hauptgleisen ab und führt in einem engen Bogen mitten hinein in die Lagunenlandschaft der Étangs, vorbei an Fischerhütten und deren in buntesten Farben schillernden Booten. Als Lagerraum hat - wenn ich das Objekt in Bildmitte richtig deute - sogar der Aufbau eines ehemaligen Kühlwagens in dem illustren Sammelsurium überlebt...
Nachdem die ITE (das steht für "Installation Terminale Embranchée", das französische Äquivalent zum Anschlussgleis) über ein Jahrzehnt ungenutzt und dem Verfall und Bewuchs preisgegeben war, erweckte Lafarge sie Ende 2016 wieder zum Leben. Hintergrund war die zeitgleiche Reduzierung der Unternehmensaktivität am Standort La Couronne bei Angoulême, wo seit Anfang 2017 nur noch die Zementmühle (Broyage) zur Zerkleinerung des bereits zuvor gebrannten Zementklinkers in Betrieb ist. Letzterer wird seitdem per Bahn vom Standort Port-la-Nouvelle aus zugeführt. www.railpassion.fr/reseaux-francais/lite-lafarge-de-port-...
Mit der Durchführung der zwei- bis dreimal pro Woche stattfindenden Transporte ist Europorte betraut, wobei vor den 1.500 Tonnen schweren Zügen aufgrund der nötigen Rangierarbeiten an den Endbahnhöfen - u.a. auf "unserem" Anschlussgleis - trotz des komplett elektrifizierten Hauptlaufs eine der beindruckenden Euro 4000-Großdieselloks des Unternehmens zum Einsatz gelangt.
Am Morgen des 23. September 2021 war €4034 pünktlich mit dem Leerzug 60201 (Angoulême - Port-la-Nouvelle) am Zielbahnhof eingetroffen. Keine zehn Minuten nach der Ankunft - die Rangiercrew war extrem fix - drückte sie die Wagenschlange bereits quer durch die Lagune in Richtung der Beladestelle auf dem Werksgelände, wo ebenso rasch die Beladung mit Klinker abgewickelt werden und der Vollzug sich noch im Laufe des Vormittags wieder auf die Rückreise machen wird.

Tangara es un género de aves paseriformes que pertenecen a la familia Thraupidae. El género incluye a una cincuentena de especies de aves nativos del Neotrópico.
En general se los encuentra en la parte alta del dosel arbóreo; pero algunos ocupan hábitats más abiertos.
La hembra suele construir un nido bien escondido en forma de taza y poner dos huevos manchados de marrón o lila. Los polluelos nacen a los 13 a 14 días y empluman en 15 a 16 días. El macho y la hembra alimentan a sus crías con insectos y frutas. A veces tienen ayudantes.
Las frutas constituyen del 53 al 86 % de su alimentación. Además comen insectos que recogen de las hojas o que atrapan al vuelo.
Están distribuidos fundamentalmente en las regiones tropicales de América Central y Sudamérica; algunas especies se encuentran en Norteamérica.
Zebrasoma xanthurum, the purple tang or yellowtail tang, is a species of reef surgeonfish in the family Acanthuridae. It was first described by zoologist Edward Blyth in 1852. Purple tangs grow to a maximum length of near 25 cm (9.8 in). Their bodies are purple in color with a yellow tail. The heads of purple tangs are covered with black spots, and black horizontal lines run down the sides of the bodies of some specimens. The center of their bodies are sometimes a darker color of purple relative to the rest of their bodies. On most specimens, the tips of their pectoral fins are yellow.
Like all members of the genus Zebrasoma, purple tangs have large dorsal and anal fins and an extended snout that is used to forage for algae within rocks. When the dorsal and anal fins are fully extended, the fish looks like a disk.
As typical of all surgeonfish, purple tangs have a sharp spines on each side of their caudal peduncle, which are used for defense. Purple tangs typically inhabit coral reef ecosystems, where they are found eating filamentous algae in the reef. They have been found at depths ranging from 2 to 20 m (6.6 to 65.6 ft). Normally, I wouldn't put the lamp in the middle of the image but in this case, it made sense for me. Not sure if anybody else agrees.

E 1301 fuhr am 01.11.2018 mit dem an diesem Tag - und irgendwie für Marokko typischen - 90 Minuten verspäteten train grande ligne 359 Tanger - Casablanca Voyageurs durch die Hügel hinter Arbaoua. Hier auf einem der wenigen Kunstbauten dieser Strecke. In wie weit sich der Verkehr im Rahmen der in Kürze in Betrieb gehenden parallel verlaufenden für 350 km/h ausgelegten Hochgeschwindigkeitsstrecke verändert ist nicht bekannt.
E 1301 drove on 01.11.2018 with the 90 minutes late train grande ligne 359 Tanger - Casablanca Voyageurs through the hills behind Arbaoua. Here on one of the few bridges of this route. It is not known how far the traffic will change in the context of the parallel high-speed line, which will soon go into operation and is designed for a speed of 350 km/h.

The Tang-e Showgan gorge seen from the site of the ancient sasanian city of Bishapour, builded by Emperor Shapur Ist, 3rd century CE. 2 fortifications used to kep the access of the gorge, builded on each cliff boearding the natural path: the Khale-ye Dokhtar (Virgin's fortress) on the right cliff, and a little one localy known as Khale-ye Pessar (The young man's fortress). 6 sassanian rock reliefs are carved in the valley were flows the Rud-e Shapur (Shapur's river).
