such as your medicines, for example. In case of emergency, emergency services can read the necessary data there.

talisman for ODC.
I wear these almost everyday. I only take them off when I sleep or when I plan to do heavy labour where I might wreck them. The wood beads are sandlewood mala beads The silverish bracelet is om mani padme hum. I tend to fiddle with them in times of stress or anxiety. Otherwise, they are a reminder of the importance of living a healthy life for me.
Alex Sharphouse's replica of a Fowler B6 Lion Road Locomotive 'Talisman' was one of the stars of the show at the Beamish steam gala. The big beast was in fine form and put on some spectacular performances through the weekend - especially hauling heavy loads up the steep bank around Pockerley.

They are an acapella group of Stanford students and we try to see them at least once a year. The faces change but the songs from a variety of countries and languages get passed down with a new one or two each year......songs of freedom, struggle, and community......with harmonies that curl your toes. He is a talisman of sorts to me, all though he doesn't know this. He has been hanging from the rear view mirror of my 4-wheeled vehicle, and the one before it, since 2000. He does a good job without any [verbal] communication between us [that would be weird, cuz his mouth is sealed shut]..I like that about him, the nonverbal communication...it is a good & necessary quality for long road trips. This is as close as we've ever been physically, other than moving him from my previous car [or the very rare graze he receives when I hand out a free visual driving lesson!!] . He reminds me of a cross between a Hobbit & the Zig Zag dude. My sister gave him to me. I think she gave one to our other sisters too. I do know that I feel a sense of protection knowing he's hanging there, from the rear view mirror of my car. [isn't that the purpose of a crystal talisman??] Feeling protected by a green eyed object is weird for some people to understand...I understand that. But I can't change what I feel and I 'feel' he's my handy man. If I had another one, I would keep it in my pocket...all the time. Not that I need protection, but it hasn't hurt me otherwise ~
