This was one of those days where I had a hard time picking just one photo of the day. My husband is a part time ski instructor up at Alyeska Ski Resort in Girdwood, AK, and my daughter and I usually go with him. When he's not teaching a lesson or out skiing the crazy stuff, we usually stay on the bunny hills teaching Carolina to ski. Today, it was beautiful up at the top so we rode the tram up to see the sights. It did not dissapoint. Once the tram broke through the fog you could see for miles! This photo made the cut because I love how my husband is looking out on the beauty of Turnagain Arm peaking through the fog, 2300 ft below at sea level, while my daughter is facing me cheesin' for the camera. Best of both worlds!

Gratitude (64) I am grateful for the ability to take walks.

Went for a walk today at noon - it was more like a shuffle, because the snow we've had today came up to my ankles.

Tonight the forecast is for freezing rain and sleet - and then about 5 more inches of snow on top of that tomorrow - hope we don't lose power! :{
