it's still well below the likes of mid-tech and custom designer knives but i guess its a good start as a collectible :3
The straight line near the S-curve of the blade isn't a defect, it's the line where the VG-10 steel core meets the outer layer of 420J2 steel. Combined, they give great edge-retention and durability.
The Zytel handle, while not exotic by any means, serves its purpose well if you use this knife as an EDC - thanks to its impact resistance.
You'll never catch me without at least a good blade and a good light.

Escala Industries does a great job of staying green and recycling old files by making them into new knives. The sheath is by Armordillo Concealment.

This one is my personal edc. I never leave home without it.
Lanyard is a GITD Super Cobra from The Lanyard Zone.
It's always either my Spartan or this one for edc tactical. Always nice to feel one or the other in my pocket whenever I'm passing through the 'hood.
Kershaw Ken Onion 1550ST Tactical knife.
Made in USA
This item assisted me in receiving five sticthes on my right hand a few months ago. Right in the web of my thumb and forefinger.
Oh, Joy.
Not. My forgetfulness that it was meant for cutting.
I still carry it though. It is a great knife. Cuts rope pretty good too.
Strobist: SB800 to right bounced off of background to give broad light to handle and blade. - Un-retouched photo.

This photo is taken for Dogwood 52 week photography challenge for 2017 | Week 5 - Technical: Ten Shots.
I was thinking about when I would take 10 shots of the same subject, but from a different angle, distance, and focal length. One thing, when it can be really usefull in my opinion is product photography. So, I've done it. CC welcomed.
