This is an alteration of a wallpaper that I found on the web that was originally in full color. The thing is that I saw something similar to this alteration somewhere but I couldn’t find it in high resolution and high quality enough for my taste so I decided to use the colored version to do my own take on it. What I did was to do it in a soft light dream like effect. I also added a slight aura around Wall-E with a blocking mask that I created in Photoshop and I also touched up the stars by hand because the soft light effect made them almost disappear.

My new speakers, next to my new Toshiba M200 tablet PC - a perfect match. As with most of these 'bass box and satellite speakers' combinations, they're heavy on the bass and high end without much in the middle, but not bad for the price (£30).
I got my lovely coffee, my yummy cake and a good wifi signal at Loudon's, one of the recently opened cafes at Fountainbridge, behind Tollcross. Been meaning to try it for a few weeks and some friends recommended it, pass it often on the way home from work. Nipped in on day off, really nice and staff were lovely too, nice space to relax. Just a shame it closes at 6, so most nights it's no use to me for a quick java on the way home from work (if only it was 7 I could get a coffee and pause my walk home). But still a nice spot for a break on a day off and to be fair I'd guess their main business will come from surrounding offices during the day (although being so central surely they'd get folks on the way home from work too?)
I tried a similar shot in colour but it just didn't look right, the B&W was better. Loudon's is a much recommended spot for good coffee, tea, cake and wifi, big plate windows let in a lot of natural light even on overcast winter days, quite popular spot to do some writing too.

As part of a pitch for Missing Link to win a gig for Coca-Cola South Africa, I made a pic of the head honcho, Ilan.
As part of the pitch material, I documented the making of the picture.
I used the free and open source FREEZ SCREEN CAPTURE to record everything happening on my machine.
I set up my Sony VX1000 behind me on a tripod to catch the over-the-shoulder footage.
And I slammed it all into Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, and sped up all of the footage.
All of the painting is done in ArtRage 2.5 on my Rectron-sponsored Asus R1E tablet pc.
