We have a red weather warning here in the South of England this morning. Storm Eunace is one of the worst storms we have experienced in 30 years and we were being advised not to go out today. One gust of wind measured 122mph on the Isle of Wight: this was at The Needles, an exposed point at the western extremity of the island. The Isle of Wight is directly below us on the UK map.
Anyway all the cats are safely tucked up at home, along with Phill.
Happy Furry Friday everyone.
Wishing you a happy, healthy and safe weekend
Happy Caturday
It feels like every photo I take of these two rambunctious kittens is my best shot and my new favorite! Finding them sprawled out on the bed this week begged for another capture of these two sweet babies.
I had other photos in mind of my other great loves, Ozzie and Squeek, but chose to go with my new little cuties, Jerri and Oscar.
They have truly brought new life to this old house and then some!
When I first saw this neighborhood cat roaming around I named it "Sebastian". Eventually I learned Sebastian was a girl so she became Sebastiannie. Thank you for taking the time to view, fave and comment on my images. It is very much appreciated.

Can't believe she's 7 years old. She is such a kittenish cat.
Apparently it is International Pet Day today
It is not very often that any of the cats actually go into the basket but on a rare occasion Kaiser decided it was the place to be (I'm surprised he fitted)
Well I survived my first week back at work. Yesterday I felt I was totally on the mend and my breathing was almost back to normal. Today, however, I am tight chested again. Hey ho!
Happy furry Friday everyone
Wishing you a healthy and safe weekend
It has been a beautiful day here today and so warm in the garden. All the cats ventured out and naturally Kaiser found just the right spot
Kaiser was sat on one of the sheds in the garden and I thought what a wonderful photo it would make with the blue sky behind him, but he is as stubborn as a mule when it comes to having his photo taken and he just would not look down. This is why I invested in a Google phone as it takes relatively good photos and I can trick the cats
What plans this weekend? Mmmmm, that's it.........none!!
Happy Furry Friday everyone
Wishing you a safe and healthy weekend
Kaiser keeping an eye on Ray who, in Kaiser's mind, might attack from half way down our very long garden. Can never be too careful, can you Kaiser *sigh*.
We have a hosepipe ban in our county (Hampshire) from 5.00pm this evening. We haven't had any rain for a few weeks now and on top of that we have an incompetent water company who have consistently failed to invest in new reservoirs, mending leaks and generally taking care of our precious water. They were fined 90 million pounds in 2020 for dumping untreated sewage into the sea. Southern Water - that is you I'm talking about!
Oh dear - I think I've just had a Furry Friday rant
It's not very often that Kaiser will pose nicely so I love this photo of him.
Nothing planned for the weekend but we may get out and about at some point. Living in a tourist region you do have to compete with a lot of traffic especially as it is the end of the Easter holidays and people will be heading off home.
Happy Furry Friday
Wishing you a happy and healthy weekend.
Only one more week until retirement day - whooo hooo!!
The bird bath is full after 230mm of rain. Well everything is full.
Daisy uses it as her personal drinking bowl.
This is telling me he does not want the camera pointing at him. It is one of his favourite expressions. The weather has really turned bitingly cold here after a couple of beautiful warm weeks. We are back to minus three at night and wearing our winter coats again. My sister is visiting us tomorrow as it is my birthday next week. Four weeks today I retire, and yes, I will keep mentioning it - lol
Happy Furry Friday everyone. Wishing you a warm and cosy weekend
This is our jasmine hedge and Pixie was sitting right on top of it.
Happy Furry Friday every one.
We have nothing planned for the weekend. Saturday is forecast rain, but Sunday we should be able to get out and about.
Wishing you a happy, healthy and safe weekend.
This was taken late September when we still had warm days. Temperatures dropped below zero last night, so all the cats are clinging on to warm spots in the house at the moment. We even had an open fire last night, and Kaiser grabbed the spot right in front of it. Nothing planned for the weekend. My knee is worse than ever after my acupuncture so I won't be doing a lot of walking that's for sure.
Happy Furry Friday everyone.
Wishing you a happy and healthy weekend
A heavy delivery arrived on Tuesday and the guy brought it in for us. Kaiser came to investigate and as the guy seemed friendly towards him, I said "this is Kaiser" - we discussed his size and he told us that in Bulgaria Kaiser is a type of sausage - lol. Phill and I couldn't stop laughing, Kaiser on the other hand did not find it at all funny. Turns out the delivery driver also had a huge cat who weighed in the same as Kaiser "The Sausage"
Happy Furry Friday everyone
Wishing you a happy and carefree weekend
Which says put that camera down, you know I hate having my photo taken.
As my knee is still hurting, there'll be no walks for a while. We still go out into the Forest but mainly for a drive . My x-ray is not until 30 November: who knows maybe I'll get a diagnosis by Christmas -lol
Happy Furry Friday everyone.
Wishing you all a happy and healthy weekend
Pixie was trying to get in through the bedroom window but it opens outwards so Phill was trying to nudge her away but understanding windows she remained steadfast and outside
Kaiser was so absorbed in listening to the sounds coming from the kitchen, he never even noticed I had my phone camera right in his face
Phill brings me a cup of tea in the morning after feeding the cats. However, rather than eat breakfast, Pixie runs upstairs and jumps on the bed for a game or a cuddle depending on her mood. We are convinced she is being fed elsewhere as she hardly eats anything at home, and yet, she is like a little round ball
