Sparkey enjoying some February sun

Heidi and I are going to spend the Easter weekend with my parents, who are always looking forward especially to having a cat visitor. Hopefully on our return the Flickr App will have returned to working properly; currently I have to use my browser to look at your photos on my tablet and it's just not as convenient (and much slower!).

Well, it's Tabby Tuesday so here's a photo where PJ Harvey is trying to gift wrap some catnip. She does this thing where she sniffs a bit then checks to see if anyone is looking and if we fool her into thinking that we are distracted, she'll start rolling around like a little kitten again. After a certain number of rolls, she is covered in it and doesn't care if I bring my camera out anymore.

As an indoor cat, Bella only goes out on a harness and quite frankly I didn't feel like going out more than I had to during the recent cold snap. Besides, her favourite activity is sitting on the wall underneath the bird feeders and I didn't think it was fair to have a cat disturbing their peace when they were stocking up on much-needed calories.
