Saturday night cruising in Paprihaven, at the Market Street Chevron...
It's Formula Night on Market Street. The F1 club has taken to the thoroughfare again so most of the conventional muscle has pulled into parking lots to watch the show.
Early Feathers revs his 'Formula 5000' as he follows Ollie Petrie's 'Team Matchbox'* out onto Market Street.
It should be good racing tonight. As long as everyone else keeps out of the way.

Uh oh, it's Formula Night on Market Street. The F1 club has taken to the thoroughfare again so most of the conventional muscle has pulled into parking lots to watch the show.
Ollie Petrie is happy that the Chevron stocks the high octane racing fuel as well as the 'civilian' pumps.
His Team Matchbox F1 is ready to roll. His main competition is Early Feathers in the next bay with his screaming fast orange Formula 5000.
It should be good racing tonight. As long as everyone else keeps out of the way.

Newport East Junction 14-5-2000 (SUN) It wasn't often that I saw a train use this Slow to Fast pointwork as most trains went along the Slow to Whitehouse box but on this occasion 56094 is crossing onto the Fast before Middlesbrough station on empty HAAs for Redcar that will form a service for Ferrybridge after loading

Clovis Paycana revs her Yat Ming Lola T370 as she follows the others out. Brand snobbery is strong on Market Street Saturday nights and it is not easy to get respect among the Matchbox owners when you're driving a Yat Ming.
Still, Clovis has been accepted into the F1 club and wins her share of races.
It should be good racing tonight. As long as everyone else keeps out of the way.

Yat Ming (formerly called Yatming) was a die-cast car scale model maker, based in Hong Kong. Yat Ming Industrial Factory Ltd was founded in 1970 by Mr. Wai Ming Lam.
Yat in Chinese means "best or number one". The Ming portion came from the founder's "middle name".
They continued producing diecast models until 2013. In 2015, their diecast line and tooling was purchased by Lucky Industrial Group Limited, which is now producting these models under their Lucky Die Cast brand.
The company started out making muscle cars, European sedans, and transport trucks from the USA in the early 1970s.
In the mid 1970s, JRI. Inc. (Road Champs) purchased the tractor trailer designs from Yatming and began marketing them under the Road Champs name in the 1980s.
In the late 1990s, the company moved towards making more realistic models, and moved away from its toy-maker roots.
Yat Ming was perhaps most famous for its 1:18, 1:24, and 1:43 scale "Road Signature" series. This series continues under Lucky Diecast.

07/08/2014. It's great to so many ALX 200's still in service in Swansea. One such example is T370 NUA.
Kime's TAZ 4062 is approaching Spalding bus station. It is a Leyland Titan TNLXB2RR with Leyland bodywork. New in 1981 as London Transport T370 registered KYV 370X, it came to Kimes from City of Oxford (no. 958) in 1998.
I'm back to uploading pics after a brief hiatus. Photographed in Henderson, NV this is a Kenworth T270 or T370 diesel repair truck used to service Komatsu earth moving machines in area mines. These trucks have now been replaced by the Kenworth T180 - 480 lineup.
GSU852T was a Leyland Leopard PSU3C/3R / Alexander T Type C49F new as Central Scottish T370 in April 1979. It became Kelvin Central Buses number 2512 in March 1989, then passed to McColl's Coaches of Balloch in August 1993 before reaching Gibson's of Moffat in December 1994. It was scrapped by Dunsmore of Larkhall in March 2000.
