Meant to recreate the exaggerated tones of 1980s-inspired synthwave, "In Living Colour" is an exercise in colour and light. Created using a two-light setup (one blue, the other white) this image uses the subject (Rosalynn) as a canvas on which to experiment. As a viewer, you could try to read into the meaning behind the colour choices, applying theory to my use of deep blues or subtle pinks. I'm telling you now, though - it doesn't mean anything. I just thought it looked cool.

I've been listening to a lot of Synthwave lately and was inspired to head down to City West (c1987) to find some 80s aesthetics.
It's never been quite the same since they changed the colour scheme to beige rather than Miami Vice pastel pink.
