A synth punk flavored reimagining of Sergei Rahkmaninoff's self-moc, built as a Secret Santa gift. Hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it!
The French electro-punk trio Infecticide brings their signature blend of chaotic synth-wave and Dadaist absurdity to the stage. Known for their satirical approach and highly theatrical, eccentric costumes, the band consistently delivers a relentless, high-energy performance.

The Liège synth-punk duo returned to the stage to celebrate the release of their EP "A Long Way Down Remixed / Reworked" (released April 17, 2026, via MILK ME). The project delivers intense industrial and EBM-driven reworkings of tracks from their 2024 album. Pure electronic punk, lo-fi EBM, and garage new-beat played fast and loud.

Everyone else who's posted a photo of this on their turntable presumably ordered theirs. I rolled the dice on figuring I'd buy it from my local go-to record store, and thankfully Rainy Day did have it in stock. Sounds as good as you'd hoped it would!
So incredible that it would take such an incredible, legendary, and influential band 45 years to finally have a record that isn't a bootleg or sourced from the audio of a VHS tape.
If you follow my photos but don't know about this music, perhaps the artwork looks familiar if you watched TV in the mid to late 1980s, when you might've seen any of the commercials for a 1-900 number called "Dial-an-Insult". The character depicted here by artist Gary Panter was the original artwork and logo of The Screamers since 1977, and it was used (I would guess appropriated without permission) for the "Dial-an-Insult" mascot, "Sultan".
Mid 1980's Rock sampler with bands from Lille in the north part of France. The two tracks by Agence Tass are the highlights (this band was recently sampled by Jane Weaver on her Flock album), with the Synth-Punk anthem "Rock à la télé" by Crise De Nerf.

This Halloween I returned for my second live show at the world famous Moog in Barcelona, Spain. I don’t know what I can say here. Barcelona is one of the greatest cities on the planet. The venue is near the beach on the amazing Les Rambles strip. Imagine a walk and on each side beautiful architecture both classic and modern. There is food and partying everywhere. The area is packed day and night. Everyone is gorgeous and the climate humid but not too hot. If you plan a trip Barcelona and Berlin should be one and two on your list.
I got a hotel directly next to the venue. It was a smart move because I was exhausted by the 4 shows and DJ gig the week before. After a life saving sleep I arrived at the club. The staff were covered in blood. Mission Ecstasy was blasting, it was packed and basically on fire (see video below!).
I had an amazing time performing of course. I always say I’d much rather play live in a small club than a festival/stadium. Nights like the one at the Moog confirm my thinking. You can really connect with the audience. By this event I had practiced the new songs live a few times so they were becoming fun to me.
It was great to see some of the people I met the first time I performed there. It has to be said that the Moog DJs are incredible. I spent a good amount of time taking photos of the records being played because I had to know what they were. Stand by the Innovators!

Il nome Crystal Castles deriva dalla pubblicità di un giocattolo tratto dal cartone She-Ra, che diceva "The Crystal Castle is the source of all power" e "The fate of the world is safe in Crystal Castles".

Il nome Crystal Castles deriva dalla pubblicità di un giocattolo tratto dal cartone She-Ra, che diceva "The Crystal Castle is the source of all power" e "The fate of the world is safe in Crystal Castles".

"The Horrorist new album “Joyless pleasure” is out today on Things to Come records. Softer and surprisingly romantic but still full of energy and extremely tortured. You can't put one style tag on the album. In the 1st track “Modern” the voice will make you think of Ian Curtis, Joy Division. “Joyless pleasure” has a high Depeche Mode feel with ultra pure and detailed synths sounds and effects. “Darkling Lullaby”, “Love sick” and “Lovely Sweet” are islands in The Horrorist universe as they are not dance tracks. “Hostage” takes us on an electroclash direction and “I stand with you” in pure EBM style with a Nitzer Ebb impression. An album more mature than ever, more melancholic. Even if we can compare some songs to other people's sounds, there is one thing that will always belong to The Horrorist and be unique like this album: it's his strange stories. Joyless Pleasure is like a jewelry piece but in electronic music." - morganistik.com
