On the bank of the Thames, still stands the London eye, if you've been to London in the last 10 years, chances are you've been on it.

 

I thought the shadowing from the reflected light was quite nice on this one.

 

The views from the capsule are pretty good, on a good day you can apparently see 40Km round from the top.

It has a total weight of 2,100 tonnes, and is the fourth highest structure in London, after BT Tower, Tower 42 and One Canada Square in Canary Wharf standing at 135 metres.

 

The circumference of the wheel is 424 metres, and a I think a revolution is about 30 mins. While a ride or flight as they call it isn’t exactly cheap... you can now apparently spend a little more and see a '4D' experience there too, that’s a 3D movie + wind and bubbles.
