Vivid Sydney at Sydney Harbour

They present spectacular beams this year.

I never expected anything like this. I was simply stunned.

The photograph was taken from High Street, Millers Point.

This is the first series of images (from my city & harbour sunset trek after work yesterday) with my brand new Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens, which replaces my 16-35mm f/4L lens.

With a lot of difficulty in the Lightroom processing to make the buildings look straight, having been taken with a wide-angle lens so close to Barangaroo.

And they're still not entirely perpendicular!!

No filter. That was the sunset.

In the far distance is the suburb of Rhodes with, amongst other things, a giant Ikea store, lol.

Let's hope there's more to come!

The Beautiful Sydney Harbour Bridge.

In the dead of night I went out to take photos of Sydney under a cloudy sky. This photo hangs on a wall in my home, but it has waited 11 years on my hard drive to be seen on Flickr. Lucky I found it, is all I can say.

A different view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the approach to the southern pylon.

This Sydney busker has a more expensive pair of jeans and shoes than I have. I wonder if I'm in the rite business.

The best way to get around the inner Sydney suburbs is via ferry. My recollection is that this was the ferry to Manly, a beautiful beachside suburb on the North Harbour. On this particular day in 2012 we were headed via ferry to the famous Sydney Zoo.

I took this shot on a clear winter's afternoon from Mrs Macquaries Point on Sydney Harbour. This photo has waited 11 years on my hard drive to be seen on Flickr. I was very pleased to find it, as I'd forgotten I ever took it.
