What if Pridak was really swole?
The last of my backlog, this one was finished in spring 2020. I got inspired to use a lot of Pridak parts, while going for a G1 aesthetic. As such this build has absolutely no CCBS. Friction joints don't count in my book. I was considering giving this moc a role in a story, but my storytelling brain has kinda dried out amidst studying. Oh well, maybe I can revitalize that eventually.

Oh well, maybe I can revitalize that eventually.
After months of watching my diet, 6 days a week workouts, writing a routine, competing in amateur competitions, the day finally came. My first professional bodybuilding competition! Looks like all that hard work paid off too, of the 2 other competitors in my class, I walked away with the gold. Hopefully one of many more in the future. Now that it's all over, I'm going to find myself the biggest cake I can. Epic reward cheat day coming up!

In other news, I recently joined a gym. I'm a 100% sure I shall suddenly start bursting with swole poer as a result.
This was originally built nearly nine years ago. It got mostly scrapped at one point, but I felt the need to put it back together with some revisions. I've always had a soft spot for the 'ol Toa of Fire.
Wooooweee.....how long has it been? five years?
Yeah, I've been gone for a while. I've posted some random Gunpla pictures every now and again, but nothing consistent and MOCs were nowhere to be seen.
Get used to that.
This MOC was honestly...draining. He's all I've worked on for months now. I knew I wanted to remake Crimson, but I honestly had no idea where to start. He's slowly come together, and right now I'd day I'm pretty happy with how he's turned out. I'm not sure what I'll do next, But It will be nice to finally have this guy finished and out there.
As for the MOC itself, I didn't know what to go for at first, but after a while it became clear to me that I'd be making a far more..tank-ish Crimson. He's no longer super skinny and lanky, trading it in for a far bulkier re-imagining. It's taken a bit of getting used to, but I'm happy with this new take. The gun-arm is literally only there due to a lack of parts, but I think it's cool regardless.

Had a wonderful time taking photos at Le Reve at the @WynnLasVegas!!!! This show was completely off the hook one of the best show experiences I’ve had. A solidly executed mix of theatrics, aerial acrobatics, costumes and story all intertwined with a dynamic multidimensional stage setup mixed with the elements. Highly recommended if you’re in Vegas!!!

Lukas: *muffled from the kitchen* “Well, at least I’m magnificent.”
Yuri: *enters the kitchen* “In every conceivable way, darling.”
Kumi: *yells* “No snogging over the food! It’s yucky! I should know, since Simon and I do it all the time! *turns her attention to Danny* What, pray tell, does she mean about my poultry being in peril, Q-tip?”
Danny: “Firstly, only Can gets away with calling me that. Secondly, since you seem unaware of turkey anatomy, let me enlighten you. There are two drumsticks per bird, and three people at this dinner who want one. Thus, someone is leaving the table disappointed. Right now, that person is Luke. But keep running that sassy mouth of yours, and it could be you.”
Kumi: “I want one. Luke wants one. Who’s the other person?” *looks around the table, narrow-eyed, ready to seek and destroy the competition*
Simon: “You know it’s not me, pet. I don’t even like turkey. I’m here for the stuffing. I haven’t toiled away all week in the gym for nothing. Now, I shall reap my rewards! Bring forth the carbs!”
Kumi: *pats Simon’s hand* “Go for it, puddin’. I find a man with a voracious appetite extra sexy—as long as his doesn’t interfere with mine.”
Candy: “I don’t like turkey much, either. I’m here for the pies and all the sides. Mac ‘n’ cheese, if you please!”
Simon: “So not every American loves turkey, then. Because someone *pointed look at Kumi* keeps implying that my British genes have destroyed my taste buds.”
Candy: “Nu-uh. Born and raised here, and I can’t stand it. Though, Yuri’s tempts me more than anyone else’s, so I’ll probably try a bite or two of Danny’s. You know most supermarket turkeys are pumped full of hormones, chemicals, and stuff. It’s why’re they’re so swollen.”
Simon: “Well…that’s appetizing.”
Kumi: “Ugh, have you been talking to Lark, because you sound just like her right now. Also, Ri-Ri only serves organic, free-range. She’s been doing it since before it was a thing.”
Candy: “Not Lark, I heard it from Charley.”
Kumi: “So Charley doesn’t like turkey, either? How very un-American of her.”
Candy: “Maybe if you dipped it in peanut butter. Now that I think about it, outside of peanuts and eggs, Charley doesn’t really seem to eat a lot of protein...”
Kumi: “Well, besides Dane…the other white meat. Bet she doesn’t mind when he gets all swole up on hormones.”
Candy: *chortles*
Danny (disgustedly): “Hello! ‘Bout to eat here!”
Kumi: “So, product of elimination, you’re getting the other drumstick, Danny, because Yuri doesn’t like ‘em. How’d you convince Luke to give his up?”
Danny: “We played ball for it earlier this week. I won.”
Lukas: *walks in* “By only the slimmest of margins.”
Danny: “If adding that makes you feel better, big bro, by all means add it. But I’m still the one who’s going to be chowing down on a turkey leg today—medieval king style.”
Kumi: “Hmm…Danny, maybe you should, you know, go back home to Kentucky and eat your parents’ turkey. More for me and Luke. He won’t miss you…and I know I won’t. Don’t you want to see your mom and dad?”
Danny: *drawls* “And, Kumi, maybe you should, you know, go back home to Georgia for Thanksgiving. Then, there’d be enough for both me and, my brother, Luke. He won’t’ miss you…and I sure as hell won’t. Don’t you want to see your dad?”
Simon: “The girls’ dad is in Ireland. He goes almost every year around this time.”
Candy: “And Brenda and Paul are on a European cruise. It was kind of a last minute thing.”
Lukas: “Yep, mom was really torn about being gone for the holiday, but they got a great deal on tickets. Yuri volunteering to cook for all the Monroes left stateside seemed to ease her mind about being away. Besides, we had extra places, since Z and Emma are in Hawaii this year.”
Kumi: “Hmm, do you think they eat turkey in Hawaii for Thanksgiving?”
Candy: “What else would they eat?”
Kumi: “I dunno. Ham seems more Hawaiian-y. Mmm, ham! I bet they have a lot of it for Christmas!”
Simon: “Reckon we’ll find out this year while we’re all down there for Christmas, yeah?”
Kumi: *rubs hands together* “Can’t wait.”
Lukas: *turns to Danny and Candy* Before I forget, Mom’s been trying to get in touch with y’all today, but after what Yuri just told me, guess your phones are off for a good reason.”
