4:52 Movement in still images is a paradox. Combine movement and stillness in a single photograph.

This is one from the archives....I had intended to reshoot something similar but life has gotten in the way as its want to do ....

Poppy in the Oats

The swirling patterns and textures of the rock caught my eye and I think are enhanced with the movement of the sea slowed a little with the ND32 filter.

Thank you for stopping by !!

From a recent trip to Chapel Falls. It's a really long drive along winding roads, but I always feel that it's well worth it. This time around I did some long exposures and finally captured some swirl! (technically multiple different swirls) The flow of water is not impressive, however, due to the drought.

Happy Sunday all!

Commonly known as Lindheimer's beeblossom, white gaura, pink gaura, Lindheimer's bellwort, and Indian feather, is a species of Oenothera. The perennial is native to southern Louisiana and Texas !!

The pretty swirls there at Elakala Falls in West Virginia.

One of the less clearly sign-posted waterfalls in Wales. I had to follow guide notes on various websites to find it. There was a good path and a bridge though. So I think that they wanted people to visit.

An autumn scene from the banks of the River Roe in the Roe Valley Country Park, Limavady, Northern Ireland. The current formed a swirl with the leaves, and a long exposure captured the movement.

Tall buildings in Düsseldorf-Seestern (mostly hotel and office buildings)

A picture I captured a few years ago. One of those moments when you spot a scene with special light and all you have with you is your phone.
