You can see the Pleasure Beach bath house in the background (the white building on the right) as well as a carry-out box from a Roessler's Hot Dog stand..oh yeah, and my grandparents!!
The pretty lady on the left is my mother's best friend, whom I call Aunt Gert. Apparently she was keeping me from drowning, because it looks like her son, Ray, was about to level me with some kind of giant football thingy!
The original pic looked more like streaky artwork than a photo. Much detail was gone, but I still love it! I warmed up some of the skin tones and added a texture to add to the painted feel, since there was no way all the detail was going to be restored. I think it's still pretty effective.
The girls hanging out by the pool in their new swimsuits and of course their bathing caps too :D
Thanks to Heidi@BlytheFifthAve for this amazing collaboration of my bathing caps - she and I worked on these so they could be under Craft theme too ;D Well there are a ton of the themes this month in this picture so maybe you'll see more of these fun goodies sooooooon!!!! ;D
