Back in the early 1980s, I had one of these new.
About 9 years ago I had the need to visit a place in London for a few months that was awkward to get to by public transport, and there was nowhere to park a large motorcycle or car (without great expense). There was however, just room behind the building for a moped. I didn't want the expense of a modern bike, nor was I that keen on new ones and I came across this for sale, which I bought unseen - a few photos - and was delivered by courier.
Now over the years various things were changed and it didn't look as smart as when they were new - I didn't want one that looked too good anyway - but importantly, it went really well. It also just fitted in the space available that I visited.
It's the silly things you forget though, and I had to sell it on very quickly to someone who could really use it. In the time after I sold my first one it as a teenager, I'd forgotten I was now half a foot taller and I looked ridiculous on it!
