Peace reigns supreme along this section of the middle fork of the Yuba River. There are many beautiful spots along the three forks of the river, and this is one my favorites. The river flows quietly through the rocks here, and the light is always perfect regardless of the time of day. A little autumn color tends to gussy things up a bit as well. It's a place to come to cure what ails you.

When visiting the NZ Supreme Court recently for work purposes I was fascinated by this very sculptural looking staircase connecting the downstairs court room with the upstairs chambers. Gorgeous architecture. The lighting and sun stripes made it special.

These peaches are on our tree in our little Orchard in the front yard. I picked a bunch this morning and made Peach Butter with them. It was yummy!
A Canarsie-bound (L) train, decked out in a brand new Supreme brand wrap, is seen approaching Sutter Ave station. Typically wrapped trains are only seen on the 42nd St Shuttle, but I would guess that Supreme's target audience rides the (L) much more often.

In de eerste week van de werkzaamheden rondom Zwolle was de westelijke kant gesloten voor trein verkeer - dit betekende dat er geen trein verkeer mogelijk was van/naar Amersfoort en Weesp.
Voor cargo treinen van / naar het Noorden, via Meppel, moet Zwolle via Deventer aangereden worden maar een directe verbinding van Deventer naar Zwolle is niet aanwezig - gelukkig er was er een mogelijkheid open gehouden om kop te maken op de Oostelijke sporen in Zwolle.
Deze woensdag reed Lineas een Dolime trein uit Onnen naar Hermalle (B) en vanwege de speciale route werd de trein opgewacht bij Harculo - hier was vroeger altijd een mooi motief met de Ijssel Centrale - de centrale is niet meer in gebruikt en de torens van de centrale zijn (helaas) gesloopt - nog enkele lage gebouwen zijn blijven staan.
Het zon achter de wolken' duiveltje dat fotografen rond Zwolle regelmatig treft was ook deze dag paraat op het 'moment supreme', dat helaas ook nog 120 minuten later was dan gepland .....
LNS/TCS Eloc 101003 + lege Dolime set + IRP Dloc 2107 komen langs Harculo op weg naar Deventer en via Arnhem naar het Zuiden.

In the first week of the infra works around Zwolle, the western side was closed for train traffic - this meant no train traffic was possible to/from Amersfoort and Weesp.
Cargo trains to/from the North, via Meppel, had to enter/leave Zwolle via Deventer - a direction connection is not available but there was a possibility of running the loc around on the eastern tracks in Zwolle.
This wednesday Lineas operated a Dolime train from Onnen to Hermalle (B) and because of the special route the train was met at Harculo - this spotting place had always a nice motif with the Ijssel Power Station in the background - the power station is no longer in use and the towers of the power station have (unfortunately) been demolished - a few low buildings remain.
The 'sun behind a cloud' devil that regularly hits photographers around Zwolle was also present this day at the 'moment supreme', unfortunately this was also 120 minutes later than planned.....
LNS/TCS Eloc 101003 + empty Dolime set + IRP Dloc 2107 pass along Harculo on their way to Deventer and via Arnhem to the South.
