Der BMW Z4 (interne Baureihenbezeichnung: G29) ist die dritte und aktuelle Generation des Roadsters Z4 von BMW. Bereits 2012 verständigten sich Toyota und BMW auf die gemeinsame Entwicklung eines Sportwagens. Ende 2018 kam er auf den Markt, als Roadster BMW Z4 und von Toyota, als Coupé GR Supra auf derselben technischen Basis.
The BMW Z4 (internal series designation: G29) is the third and current generation of the Roadster Z4 from BMW. As early as 2012, Toyota and BMW agreed to jointly develop a sports car. At the end of 2018 it came onto the market as a BMW Z4 roadster and from Toyota as a GR Supra coupe on the same technical basis.
The A80 Supra (in its most revered guise) is probably my favourite of the legendary name. Some would think it's not a difficult choice; probably the most attractive in a traditional sense but then also the best mechanically. For me personally it's a close run thing to the original Supra, just because they look so darn cool.
I nearly didn't bother with this one though, I was in a rush, it was quite a distance away and I wrongly assumed it would be an NA automatic. However, zoom was my friend.here and it turned out OK.
A registration check suggests that this is actually the TT manual version, however I have since found photos of it online that seem to show it's an automatic and has perhaps changed to none original wheels. Still very attractive although not what I'd want, but when you've got 320 BHP as standard and another 50% increase available without much major work I think I could cope with those 4 gears.
