Well, tomorrow is the inauguration and I think the biggest fear is that the armed anti-Democracy Trump supporters have some connections on the inside. Let's hope things stay peaceful.

Students and supporters gather at Queen’s Park in Toronto to protest proposed changes affecting education funding and student financial aid programs such as OSAP. Demonstrators carried signs reading “Hands Off Our Education,” “Hands Off Our Campuses,” and “Support Students,” calling attention to concerns about tuition costs, accessibility, and the future of post-secondary education in Ontario.
The rally brought together students, workers, and community members outside the Ontario Legislative Building, highlighting the broader impact education policy has on families, researchers, healthcare workers, and future professionals.
The protest was part of a larger response to provincial policy changes affecting higher education and student aid.

In reference to my quest to see the departing 'Cobra Warrior' contingents, in support of the Indians, their Air Force sent a pair of Boeing C-17 Globemaster IIIs
Both departed from Waddington, the 1st going before the Fighters got airborne, with the 2nd leaving afterwards
Luckily, I stopped off on my journey home to catch the 2nd one
Here, with call-sign 'IFC4923', CB-8008 arcs around me over mid-Kent at FL350 while on her way via Seaford Head with a stop-off in Greece
Ironically, the 1st one routed overhead my home - behind all that pesky cloud!

You just don't see the attention to detail in today's home designs that you would have witnessed in gilded-age mansions like Lynnewood Hall in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. Lynnewood Hall, with 110 rooms, 55 bedrooms, and 100,000 square feet, is the second largest Gilded Age mansion left in the U.S. and a magnificent example of architecture by Architect Horace Trumbauer. For the fascinating history of the home known as the "American Versailles", see the Lynnewood Hall Preservation Foundation's website at LynnewoodHallPreservation.org/history, where you can become a Patreon supporter and help the restoration efforts.

This very broad frontage is Hartlebury Castle, home to the Bishops of Worcester after it was given by Henry III to his Chancellor, Godfrey Giffard, Bishop of Worcester in 1268, along with the right to fortify it. It was loyal to Charles I throughout the Civil War - at least until May 1646 when Roundhead forces managed to capture it without firing a single shot. It then became a prison for royalist supporters. Parliament wanted to demolish it, but that proving too expensive, it was sold. With the Restoration, it was handed back to the bishops, but in an uninhabitable state. Rebuilding began and continued until the late 18th century.
It remained the home of the bishops of Worcester until the 21st century, and in 2007 the Church Commission sold Hartlebury Castle and the accompanying land, to Hartlebury Castle Preservation Trust. It houses the Hurd Library, still on its original shelves since 1782, and Worcestershire County Museum in its north wing, which has several interesting collections.
