Hurray! This photo made it to Explore's front page. It is not photoshopped or superimposed or anything. I used a little digital enhancement to bring out the detail in the clouds and color in the backgroud. The balloon was sharp and detailed in the untouched version. © all rights reserved
Today there were 3 balloons up. I had 10 passengers. It was a pefect flight and a perfect day. Just the right amount of clouds and wind and sun and hassle-free landing fields.
This photo shows the Remax Balloon flown by Bill Baker with Black Mountain (San Diego city park open space area) in the background, and way to the back left can be seen Mount Woodson, between Poway and Ramona, a popular rock climbing spot.

La Merveille is an exceptional example of monastic architecture. As its name suggests, the Merveille building is the undeniable masterpiece of Mont Sain-Michel abbey. Its construction dates back to the beginning of the 13th century and represents a technical and artistic feat. La Merveille illustrates the spirit of Gothic art that was blowing through all of Western Europe at that time. Its daring architecture comprises 3 superimposed levels which culminate at 35 m in height, supported by sixteen powerful buttresses.

Sophisticated photo Double exposure or voluntary out of focus The woman in the foreground and In the background, a nocturnal landscape with lights reflected on the water works on visual layering, the near scene is obscured, the distant scene is sharp.
The photo has two competing centers And in that competition there is poetry.
In Messina, Sicily, there is a church tower with a mechanical carillon dating from 1933. The tower is almost 50 metres high and can be climbed. From the top you have an interesting view of the church square. I took three pictures of a man crossing the square and superimposed them.

About making this image:
1 - I took the first shot with a 55 mm focal length to capture much of the desert landscapes with the camel included.
2 - With the Camera still on the tripod, and with the same exposure & color management setting I took a second shot (A telephoto 102 mm focal lens) capturing the Camel (Magnified filling most of the frame).
3 - I was lucky that the animal did not move.
4 - Post-processing action done by superimposing the magnified Camel (Photo 2) to match the size of the Camel (Photo 1).
5 - What you see on Flickr is the final image: a better-detailed image quality, and extra sharpness of the Camel.
"The Dream" consists of a basic image and a motif image that are superimposed.
