Hanko Peninsula, Tvärminne, South-Finland. (In explore)

Explored #59. Thank you!

Taken at dusk (at this latitude, the blue hour last for much longer time than near to the equator, which is a great advantage for night photographers!), 15 minutes walk from my hotel in downtown Helsinki, a place called Ursinin Kallio.

4 exposures digital blending, the longest exposure being 2 minutes at f/22. No color processing, these are the colors captured by the D300 sensor.

Evening over Lake Vhvanen, Myhinpääntie, north east of Jyväskylä in Central Finland.

I still have one or two more from this evening but spacing them out.

September 2015.

Fuji X-T1, XF18-55/2.8-4, 1/110th sec at f/8, ISO 200 FL ~ 28mm

From Lake Vahvanen in the Northern Savonia region of Finland, the lights of Jyväskylä below the Milky Way.

Another archive frame. Spent 5 days here on the lake in a little cabin with nothing but red squirrels for company. We'll forget about the bloke across the lake with the frinking leaf blower. Seriously dude - get a rake.

Fujifilm X-T1, Samyang 12mm f/2 NCS, 20 seconds at f/2.8, ISO 5000.

AKA Red clover, puna-apila (fin).

Taken with Canon FD 200mm F2.8 / APS-C Sensor / Unedited (Straight from camera).
