The hotel on the Italian riviera has such teasing marquises that light up in the sun and cast beautiful shadows. In order to still recognise something in the drop shadows, I lightened the picture a little with HDR.
In spring (and autumn), the wind conditions here on the Italian Riviera are good for surfers. Today there have been strong onshore gusts all day.
Qual è l'elemento della natura che suscita nel poeta il senso dell'Infinito dello spazio? La siepe impedisce al poeta di vedere ciò che si trova di fronte a lui, permettendogli così di fantasticare. Qual è l'elemento della natura che da al poeta la sensazione dei “sovraumani silenzi”? La siepe permette al poeta di immaginare al di là interminati spazi, sovraumani silenzi, profondissima quiete, tanto da arrivare a provare smarrimento e paura. Qual è il motivo che fa pensare il poeta all'eternità? Udendo lo stormire delle foglie mosse dal vento, il poeta confronta l'infinito silenzio a questa voce: pensa così all'eternità, al tempo passato e a quello presente, che sente vivo nel fruscio delle foglie.

What is the element of nature that arouses in the poet the sense of the Infinite of space? The hedge prevents the poet from seeing what is in front of him, thus allowing him to fantasize. What is the element of nature that gives the poet the feeling of "superhuman silences"? The hedge allows the poet to imagine beyond endless spaces, superhuman silences, profound quietness, so much so as to end up feeling lost and afraid. What is the reason that makes the poet think of eternity? Hearing the rustling of the leaves moved by the wind, the poet compares the infinite silence to this voice: he thinks thus of eternity, of past and present time, which he feels alive in the rustling of leaves.

A house in Diano Marina on the Italian Riviera. This façade with only a few small hatches is strongly illuminated by the setting sun in the evening.
This sunset was beautiful but it was the last sunset with partiality clear sky. For days the Sierra Nevada Mountains have been barely visible. The smoke is so thick you can taste it.. yuk

These strong yellow shutters in the bright afternoon sun had done it to me. I shot them a year ago in Marseille.

SANDSTOPPERS...
LOL, a promenade and a road, in between dunes on the Flemish Coast.
Slightly protected from the storm at sea, the sand was stopped by the bollards dividing the two areas, one for walkers and cyclists, the other for cars.
The sand neatly designed in orderly little heaps.
