Visitors to Glennallen Alaska will probably be surprised to see a Subway Sandwich shop, carved out of the wilderness, in the very center of town. Since 99.9% of visitors arrive in the summer - I thought I'd show everyone what it looks like on a sub-zero day in the middle of winter. You've got to climb through the snow to get to your favorite sandwich.

I had to walk down the left side of the cave so that I could take a photo of a cave dwelling to the right. It got a little sketchy for me.
Today I tried my Christmas present, a 10-18mm super wide angle lens.
I am pretty excited.

Heute habe ich mein Weihnachtsgeschenk ausprobiert, ein 10-18 mm Superweitwinkelobjektiv.
Ich bin ziemlich begeistert.
Standing on the subway platform opposite to this one, I saw an image in my viewfinder that reminded me of a film strip containing a succession of scenes,each with its own group of characters. But this movie is one that plays 24/7, has a cast of millions and features a totally new set of scenes every-time a train arrives or departs. In New York, I think , one of the greatest shows on earth can be found underground.
Passengers aboard the shuttle (S) train.This particular shuttle train runs between 42nd St and Times Square (westside) and Grand Central Station (east side).The ride is only 90 seconds long,the shortest in the entire subway system.I don't know exactly when advertisement of this nature began on train,but it's around awhile.What you see in the interior of the train is also on the exterior.
