Taken at the Oceanário de Lisboa’s in the temporary exhibition, “Forests Underwater by Takashi Amano”.

13 seconds exposure; I was in the frame for about 9 seconds.

Better in Lightbox, I think.

Block Island

From the archives.

The old town is mostly submerged into the water after a dam construction.

A view from the Regnitz River path in Gaustadt shortly before dark. Low-rise apartment buildings are across the river in the Erba residential area. [DSC04052_lr_2000]

Thank you all for the clicks, comments & faves.

We've had a few days of blissful sunshine, but as you can see some of my preferred bike trails are still blocked by our usual late winter floods. I enjoy visits to the flood plains though as they often attract lots of birds.

Love the way these two tree tops are peeping through the water giving a very minimal image

Another from Wednesday morning, I would of stayed here for the better light but the tide forced me to retreat to safer ground

One more of the beautiful jellyfish, swimming in the Berlin Aquarium. Such fascinating animals..

A beautiful animal - the white spotted jellyfish. I could watch them for hours while they are floating in the water. Such fascinating animals

Started off as the back of a metal bench with holes. Many different tries.

Tag 20

____________

Hit and submerged, I'd say... ;)

day 20

The groynes at Seaham sinking beneath a rising tide. A beautiful sunset added some great contrasting colour.

Taken in December, sadly I missed the beautiful sunset tonight due to the pouring rain. How annoying!

Poor trees, they must be drowning under there 😔

Playing with submerged objects and paint. My first, Rose of Sharon and white paint.

A road in Kintore, Scotland, disappears beneath the spring flood waters as the winter snow melts and combines with recent rains to burst the banks of the River Don.

Spent a few days at the Double Tree By Hilton Hotel in Queenstown. There was snow on the Remarkables but only at higher altitudes.

A directly photographed scene.

Drowning, yes.

But in the richness, the overwhelming presence...

Lost, but found in this submersion.......

I've made it across the traverse and get my breath back at this large boulder, half submerged in the winter snow. I think it's time to assess the situation though as it's getting worse and worse as I get closer to Dubh Loch.
