Die Skulptur "Open Ended"
des amerikanischen Künstlers Richard Serra wiegt fast 216 Tonnen.
Das stählerne Kunstwerk ist 4 Meter hoch, 18 Meter lang und 7 Meter breit.
ein Riese voller Kontraste: sowohl schwer als auch elegant, industriell und organisch, stattlich und verspielt, konvex und konkav.
Sechs gewölbte Stahlplatten bilden zusammen ein Labyrinth. Open Ended ist eine Arbeit, die am besten erlebt wird, wenn man durch sie hindurch geht.

Not hard to spot this Green-tailed Towhee with its red crest and mewing call.

This secretary bird is member of the falconry of the bird park Walsrode, Lower Saxony. I really like these feathers on its head.. the bird seems to look a bit.. well... hysteric? 😁

When UP 871 worked local duties around Salt Lake City, Utah on February 4, 1987, it was one of 14 active GP30s on the Union Pacific roster. The geep was built by EMD for UP in September 1962.
