Mein uralter Teddy trommelte sämtliche Bären zusammen um ihnen vorzulesen...
My ancient teddy drummed up all the bears to read to them ....
My daughter set up some of her dog stuffed animals in the window a while back. They are her faithful companions. She is very much in love with dogs as may have been noticed from the selection of dog books I posted last week. We have a dog but she is terribly incontinent so she doesn't get to spend time in the house with us. These little friends fill the void a bit for my daughter but I am plagued daily with guilt for my sweet dog and try to spend more time with her outdoors.
The pink and white dog has a sticker on it's head because it's a thermometer. :)
Happy Window Wednesday
I still haven't given all of my windows a good cleaning since we had the rainstorm that produced mud on all the windows. This one requires a ladder and although I've sprayed it with the hose it apparently needs a little more scrubbing.

Wie angekündigt hat uns Oma noch einmal alle herbei gerufen um ein Abschlussfoto mit allen Gästen zu machen. Das dauerte bis jeder einen Platz gefunden hatte, Oma endlich‘Marmelade’ sagte und alle in die Kamera schauten. Aber die Geduld hat sich ausgezahlt, dieses schöne Erinnerungsfoto kommt auf mein Nachtkästchen !! 👋

As announced, Granny called us everybody over again to take a final photo with all the guests. It took until everyone had found a place, Granny finally said 'cheese' and everyone looked into the camera. But the patience paid off, this beautiful memory photo is going on my bedside table !! 👋

Macro Mondays theme : Childhood Toys
When I was young, we didn’t have many toys. So, I always took good care of them. One of my favorite was a stuffed toy dog. Of course, this lovely Teddy Bear in the picture is not my actual childhood toy. The stuffed toy dog would have been too big anyway! I also added the Forget-me-not flowers. 😊
To think of it, I believe these particular flowers were also appropriate for the theme. Don’t we all remember a toy that was dear to our heart and brings back warm memories from our childhood? In my case, don’t worry my dear Teddy, you are not forgotten!
