Its the simple layouts that can take the most time. It took me forever to get something that resembled my vision for this shot. Again the weak point being my styling skills but overall I am pretty happy with this. If you want to see more of my photography please stop by the Fulcrum Imaging website at www.fulcrumimaging.com. I saw a tweet recently about an espresso smoothie so I decided to try and come up with my own with ingredients I had. I threw in a double shot of espresso, a frozen banana, protein powder, cocoa pwoder, chocolate chips, vanilla, yogurt, milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, almonds and icecubes and this is what came out. It needed a little more sweetness but not bad for a first try. Maybe some dates next time for sweetness and colour. A vintage microphone 🎤 rests on the shoulders of a vintage amplifier at Blue Light Studio in Vancouver.
Left ⬅️ & right ➡️. The low & high registers of the 🎹 are aptly convered 🎤 during a recent recording session.
Lots of lovely woodwork at Blue Light Studio in Vancouver where the view extends from the Leslie speaker to the Hammond B3 organ.
... oil on canvas, 18" x 18". My final painting for the local studio tour on the last two weekends of the month (making 18 new paintings since last year's show). Title refers to the dire circumstances for monarch butterflies who are disappearing at a tragic rate. This image is based on a photo I took of the one monarch I saw in my area last summer (used to always see many dozens--including eggs and caterpillars; but no eggs nor caterpillars last year nor this). Did see a few butterflies this summer around my property.
