STUDIO CITY - The Los Angeles Fire Department responded by ground and air to aid a fallen hiker in a remote section of Fryman Canyon Park on July 16, 2022. The man, who sustained a serious ankle injury, was medically stabilized by flight paramedics lowered from a hovering LAFD rescue helicopter, before he was hoisted aboard the aircraft for in-flight care during direct transport to a regional trauma center.
