Brand new student accommodation nearing completion for the new university year. Built by Watkin Jones Group, this building shows that you can get quality student housing in the city centre. It really bulks up the urban presence.

Three Mills West, Stratford, London

There was a small but vocal faction of our community that lobbied relentlessly for "Lite-Brites" to be the sole source of light for our new apartments. While this was initially thought to be incredibly awesome and totally obvious as the way to go, doubts persisted.

Pro: Yes, you could spell out messages in the morning to yourself in colored lights.

Con: You would barely be able to see as those things don't give off much light. Shaving? Impossible.

Pro: Unicorns!

Con: Your room would be a constant hang-out pad due to it's awesome fixtures. I mean, who doesn't like a lite-brite?

Con: Isn't a lite-brite just a little bit of a fad? We're adults for goodness' sake.

Pro: LITE-BRITE!

Con: "Oww, I just tripped for the 10th time this morning! Can't I just get some regular lighting?!"

So that's what we did. You're welcome?
