if we must struggle, it might as well be in a pretty color.
this pic only makes sense when larger.

Ephesians 6:11-12
New International Version
11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

I took a fair few images of seed heads today but nothing really struck me. I have a certain look in mind but I just can't pull it off …. yet!
So this is a kinda 'make do' shot for now :)

You
Song by Candlebox
Lyrics
Oh, you
It's for you
Only you
It's for you
I'll never know, I'll never care, I'll never believe my people
I'll tell you what I say
I'll never lie, I'll never try, I'll never cry for you people
I'll push you, push away
As you lonely people
Keep on runnin' 'round my door
Yes, you lonely people
Keep on beggin', beg for more
And I'll cry for you, yes, I'll die for you
Pain in my heart it is real
And I'll tell you now how I feel inside
Feel in my heart, it's for you
It's for you
Only you
It's for you
I'll never try, I'll never die, I'll never push for you people
I'll tell you how I feel
I'll never lie, I'll never cry, I'll never try for you people
I'll tell you, yes, it's real
And you lonely people
Keep on passing time away
Yes, you lonely people
Keep on passing, pass away
And I'll cry for you, yes, I'll die for you
Pain in my heart it is real
And I'll tell you now how I feel inside
Feel in my heart it's for you
And I'll take everything as it comes my way
Pushin' your pain 'round my door
And I'll I cry for you as I die for you
Is this blood on my hands all for you?
You shiver and shudder, recovers your mother
You feel it take control
All alone
Feel alive
In your soul
Come around town, steal another dime, take another line
Won't you feel it blanket your soul out of mind
Come around town, steal another dime, do another crime
Won't you get it higher and higher, all through time
Come around town, steal another dime, don't you push your drugs in my face
Yes, I feel it, feeling fine
Don't you push your drugs in my face or I'm gonna put you in your place
Fuck you, I don't want it no more
And it's mine
Said this pain in my heart, it's all mine
Yes, it's mine
All alone
Oh, I don't want it no more
I don't want it no more
I don't want it no more
I don't want it no more
And it's mine
On my own
Yes, it's mine
All alone
As I cry for you, yes, I'll die for you
Pain in my heart, it is real
And I'll take everything as it comes my way
Feel in my heart it's for you
And I'll lie for you as I die for you
Pain in my heart, it is real
And I'll tell you now how I feel inside
Fuck you, it's for you
A ""throwback"" to almost two years ago, the Aberdeen Local charges upgrade into Summit. Though the train wasn't very long, it was struggling getting up hill here, at notch 8 but not close to track speed. IIRC the only unit online was 1462. Out of all the locals based out of Willmar, this one was easily my favorite to chase. Of course, I chased it again last not too long ago, and probably will do more now that the days are longer again.
Life is a constant struggle. Some struggle to find a job; some to lose weight; while others struggling to understand the meaning of their lives. Whatever your struggle, fret not what is ahead, worry instead what is within; for the challenges in life aren't always the obstacles ahead of us but the attitude within.
taking advantage of the recent warm weather the first time I haven't worn long john's in 2021 for night photography This is also my first tracked Panorama and it was a struggle to stitch!

I hope this sparrow survives the tick, poor little guy !

Struggling for existence is the essences of life depicted here as we witness four people are struggling in the mid stream against the high tide for their smooth sailing. They remain calm and quite as they aware off their responsibility for safe voyage.

My favorite time to be on the beach is when the tide is coming in. Bulging waves roll up further and further, until they overtake the dry sand. They bring with them treasures from the deep. It’s exciting when the ocean leans forward to say hello, as it were.
Contrary to every instinct, we spend most of our modern lives trapped in square boxes, whether in vehicles or buildings, and also in mental boxes, and we languish in our prison of stasis. There, we obsess about power struggles. Could it be because we have cut ourselves off from the experience of nature’s power?
The tide is coming in. Plump waves are rolling up the beach. Tidda responds. She becomes animated. She feels the spirit of the sea rising and we both feel the energy. The breath of life enters us. My mood lifts. I laugh and feel playful. We have stepped into nature’s flow of power. When the tide rises, all rise together. When it sinks, all sink together.
A tree struggles to survive in the Salt Creek area of Death Valley. I am not sure whether it is engaged in a war against the brush around it or if the brush is attempting to vanquish it. Non-native species have settled in areas with water sources and are choking out native species in Death Valley. I don't know which is which here but it appears this is an epic struggle for survival.
Happy Tree-mendous Tuesday!
