Santa Barbara County Fire crews responded to a mobile home fire Wednesday afternoon in the 7400 block of Hollister Avenue in Goleta.
Three engines responded to the Rancho Mobile Home Park at 7465 Hollister Ave. at 3:19 p.m. and found the back of a single-wide mobile home on fire with smoke pouring out of a rear window, County Fire public information officer Mike Eliason said.
An engine company confined the fire to the back of the home, near the laundry area, and put it out within 20 minutes, Eliason said. One resident was home at the time but there were no injuries to him or any firefighters.
At 12:25AM, a reported structure fire was dispatched at 13412 Saticoy St. Heavy smoke and fire was visible from a 300' x 300' pallet yard that extended to the San Fernando Rescue Mission. It took about 90 minutes to get a good handle on the fire.
Aug 25, 2012. Wicomico County fire stations 5 (Hebron), 16 (Salisbury) & 12 (West Side) were alerted for a structure fire during a storm with heavy rainfall and frequent lightning. Engine 16 arrived first and found a working residential structure fire. An additional ladder was requested from Station 2 (Salisbury). Units on-scene: Hebron Engine-Tanker 5, Tanker 508, Traffic Control 5, Utility 505, Salisbury Engine 16, Tower 16, Truck 2, West Side Engine-Tanker 1202 and Tanker 12.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD - Firefighters responded to the 6700 block of North Farmdale Avenue for a two-story commercial structure fire, at 6:33 PM on July 31, 2023. The first 50 firefighters extinguished the flames in 26 minutes. One approximately 50-year-old male was located and received a medical assessment by paramedics on scene, but did not require hospital transport.

Chatham-Kent fire stations 4 and 5 responded a 2nd alarm fire in the former Dover Township.
The fire spread from the garage and into the attic and then to a portion of the main part of the two story residence. Crews conducted an interior and exterior attack in order to stop the fire before it destroyed the entire house.
SUNLAND - At 11:10PM on November 1, 2025 the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to reports of a structure fire in the 10900 block of North Scoville Avenue in Sunland. 36 firefighters arrived to a one-story, single family dwelling with fire and smoke showing. An 87 year old man was found outside the home with critical burn injuries. Firefighter/paramedics provided immediate medical care and transported the patient to the hospital.
With reports of additional occupants possibly trapped inside, firefighters initiated an interior fire attack while conducting a primary search. Tragically, two adult males were found inside the home and determined dead on scene.
Four more adults, already outside the home on LAFD arrival, suffered varying degrees of smoke inhalation and were transported to the hospital. One patient declined medical transport, bringing the total patient count for the incident to eight.

Warren County - House fire back in the woods, NC 58 Highway, Warrenton, NC. Warrenton RVFD, Macon RVFD, Norlina VFD, Afton-Elberon VFD, NC Forest Service, Warren County EMS, and Warren County SO responded.

SAN PEDRO - LAFD was dispatched to a structure fire on the 400 block of West 14th Street at 6:48 AM on October 30, 2023. Firefighters encountered fire that appeared to have rapidly spread from a tree to dense outside storage, then to several structures (home, duplex, and apartment). It took 52 firefighters 48 minutes to extinguish the flames. One patient was evaluated by paramedics, but found to be in good condition and required no hospital transport. No firefighter injuries.

Delmar Fire Dept assisted Sharptown with a working commerical building fire today. Tanker 74-5 and Engine-Tanker 74-2 responded from Delmar. Firefighters from 3 Counties and 2 States were at the scene. Sharptown, Mardela Springs, Hebron, El Dorado-Brookview, Laurel and Delmar FD's responded.
At 11:41PM on December 9, 2024 the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 14900 block of W Blackhawk St.
Firefighters quickly extinguished fire showing from a one-story, single family dwelling.

Feb 4, 2017. Stations 74, 2 and 6 were dispatched for a structure fire on the Maryland side in the Avalon Park neighborhood. Units arrived to find a large shed well involved with fire that was threatening two homes in close proximity. Assistance was requested from the next 3 closest fire stations which brought units from Stations 16, 5 and 7.
