Last night after a day of the pool and a few cocktails, the girls got a little crazy on the Stripper Pole at Five Star!
Friday the 13th isn't so much an excuse for this edition of the Sharkbite Sideshow as it is a motif for it: our warm-up dancer has a demure bullet hole prettily posted on her forehead, there are great intimations of pending doom throughout, and stalking up and down the side of the back room at R Bar is a demure masked Jason. And I'd tell you more about Jason, but if I did I'd have to kill you.
I've been away for the last few Sharkbite shows, but it's a pleasure to be back and to see Sasha the Fire Gypsy at work. The venue is especially dark tonight - that's darker than usual, which is remarkable - and Sasha catches me off guard; I'm shooting with a lens that doesn't love making focus out of darkness, and I don't have time to switch out before she is in full action.
