I released this product over a year ago and a lot of people have recently purchased it to add to their new Juicy Rolls!

I have heard some suggestions on the BOM layer and added 3 additional opacities for optimal tinting.

I DO NOT HAVE A BOM UV DEMO - Like I said above, I made this over a year ago - I do not have the original to make a UV demo to match up with the materials, however the BOMS themselves lay exactly how the materials will lay and are NOT meant to be worn without the Materials anyway.

This lady I have hennaed her belly twice. She was having contractions while I was doing this design and the baby was active. We paused a lot. I love the stretch marks. Some people don't like them but I got them and grew to love them. It's where my beautiful baby lived for 42 weeks.

I was a little envious of how this lady's belly stained 3+ weeks. Mine stained for 1 week. Big difference. I was so stretched though, maybe that's why.

The OM symbol was just something positive and to sound when she was in labor. My voice naturally was a firm but low "OOOOOHHHHMMMMM."

Sometimes I have dreams-- daydreams, midday dreams-- of slicing myself open. From the shoulder, down the inside of my arm, to my. From chin to clavical. From breast bone to pelvis and hip to knee and knee to ankle. Open, splayed. I'd like to think I'd get a better handle of my thoughts that way. I'd pull out a rib and a lung. A stretch of muscle to feel the texture in my hands. I'd coax my heart out, hold it in my hands, and watch it beat. Breathe. Whisper.

This is from a session last month with a mom, pregnant with twins, at 37 weeks. Most of the photos from the session were flattering, as she wanted. However, there were photos, such as this one, that I thought were fascinating, but had more of an edge.

In order to present them, it seemed like some treatment was in order, both to call back to the texture of the belly, and to show the skin tone but still retain the warmth of the session. This is more of an experimental portrait than a commercial one.

The idea here is to capture how, late in pregnancy, the belly can become an entity unto itself.
