Strawberry plants in the Bee garden

I planted bareroot strawberries in late February, expecting to wait a year before they produced any usable quantities. I was pleasantly surprised to get an abundant crop less than three months later. They're so good, they're worth putting in a little white bowl and taking a picture.

Sweet, juicy strawberries, love them for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks! Truly, one of my favourite fruits anytime, every time, especially with whipped cream! LoL!

These strawberries were "captured" at a roadside stand in the Leelanau Peninsula, MI. Strawberry shortcake for dinner!
