The Fender Stratocaster, colloquially known as the Strat, is a model of electric guitar designed from 1952 into 1954 by Leo Fender, Bill Carson, George Fullerton and Freddie Tavares. The Fender Musical Instruments Corporation has continuously manufactured the Stratocaster from 1954 to the present. It is a double-cutaway guitar, with an extended top "horn" shape for balance. Along with the Gibson Les Paul and Fender Telecaster, it is one of the most-often emulated electric guitar shapes.

C'est le chien d'Emilie , elle l'a reçu hier... ☺

The Fender Stratocaster "Blackie" is one of the most legendary electric guitars in rock history and was Eric Clapton's primary instrument for many years. Due to extreme wear—the neck had been sanded down and refretted so often that further leveling was no longer possible—Clapton retired the guitar in 1985. Then, in June 2004, he had "Blackie" auctioned off at Christie’s in New York for the then-record sum of $959,500. 😎👌

It has been a long long long time since I touched my Strat, took it out awhile a go to see if it's still ok and decided to take a couple of shots :)

Slightly aged, but not beaten up too much. Original pickups, pots, and bridge. Replaced switch, knobs, and jack. really just a starting point for natural aging. Bought on ebay for 60 bucks from some guy named jesse in Arkasnas. He shipped it in a gibson box, so i like to think he moved on to a better guitar. His old one has taken on new life. I will get around to relplacing the saddles and pickups eventually.
