It is said to have been built on the location where St. Patrick baptized some of the first converts in a well. A well was discovered during excavation, and is marked by the fountain now. Jonathan Swift was the dean of this parish for a number of years, most of his well-known books were penned here. The church was rebuilt thanks to donations from the Guinness family in the 1800's,

The theme for St. Patrick’s Festival 2018 is HOME; the exploration of my home, your home, our home. The festival takes place from March 15th – 19th

On patricks day they lit up tokyo tower with green lights. We went up and drove around it to take a few photos. It looked great and there were loads of people around taking photos.
