Its only from a high vantage point you can appreciate the size of the minster, one of the ten largest cathedrals in Europe, started in 1215 on top of an existing minster and taking 250 years to complete. I would love to take this again one day with an interesting sky behind it instead of the flat grey we had. This was taken from the old city wall.

We are in Temecula, CA, which is an up and coming wine growing area. So, today, we did a wine tour with a commercial company (no worries about drinking and driving :-). There are apparently five S's in wine tasting. Step 1 is "See the wine. It should be clear, and if it's red, have a very deep color."

step1 do outline. step2 fill in. step3 get ran off by cops. step 4 hide in woods and ditch paint. step5 train leaves and so do we. step6 return and paint another. step7 realize you dont have the right colors for your train anymore because you used the good shit to fill in the first one. step8 be some what bummed but glad you painted anyway.
I took a shot at making the scottie found at Allsorts. I bought a felting tool found at Kitty Craft and added a nice effect on the flower. The pic doesnt do it justice but it is really cool. I made this as a thank you gift for a lady I met who is going to keep an eye out for some vintage patterns for me. Woo hoo!
