Startup Weekend Phoenix 2010 pitch night, voting and splitting into teams. Great turnout, 38 ideas pitched and about 10 teams formed around the ideas.
Startup Weekend, hosted by the Oberlin Entrepreneurship Club, was a two and a half day team event in September that gave students the tools needed to take an idea from concept to execution. The weekend started with featured speaker Charles Stack, CEO of Cleveland's FlashStarts,a leading early-stage startup incubator. Students also worked with mentors, developers, designers, and entrepreneurs. At the end of the event teams pitched their concepts for a chance to win prizes like Oculus Go, Amazon Echo, and Amazon Gift Cards.
