The UK’s Department for International Trade, through its Global Entrepreneur Programme, organised the Startup Games on 23 March 2017 in Singapore. We had over 50 entrepreneurs pitched in front of top mentors and investors for virtual seed fund using our bespoke app. Keynote speakers include Alex Lin (SG Innovate), Chris Wade (Octopus Ventures), Frederic Lardieg (Octopus Ventures), Henry Goodwin (Octopus Ventures), Anne Marie Droste (Entrepreneur First), Jeffrey Tiong (Patsnap), Shobhit Shukla (NEAR), Jamal Hassim (SyQic) and Oswald Yeo (Glints).
We want to thank everyone who had participated in the Startup Games and we look forward to seeing you at our future events!

40 student entrepreneurs were brought together November 9-11 at the headquarters of Startup Aggieland to learn how to design and launch a successful business.

Startupfest célèbre l'entrepreneuriat et la créativité des jeunes entreprises d'ici et d'ailleurs dans le domaine des technologies de l'information. Il s'agit d'une occasion extraordinaire de rencontrer des intervenants de toutes les sphères de l’écosystème en un seul et même endroit: des entrepreneurs inspirants, des mentors, des investisseurs, ainsi que d’autres startups partageant une même vision. Outre la qualité du réseautage possible et la grande quantité de contenu partagé, le festival est une opportunité exceptionnelle d‘exposer son produit à de nombreux investisseurs.
StartUp Fest reçoit un appui financier de la Ville de Montréal.

Chi sogna di costruire la prossima Google in uno scantinato, oggi rischia di rimanere deluso. L’avvio e la crescita di un’azienda innovativa è frutto, oltre che di un’idea di valore, anche di un ecosistema che accolga e alimenti una startup mettendola in relazione con altri attori, oltre a catalizzarne il percorso di crescita.
Tra gli ospiti: il Ministro della Gioventù Giorgia Meloni, Alexis Ohanian (Reddit/Hipmunk/yCombinator), Carlos Eduardo Espinal (Seedcamp), Eduardo Montefusco (RDS), Fabrizio Capobianco (Funambol), Mind the Bridge, modera Marco Montemagno.
Essex Startups challenged students to make as much of a profit as possible from £100 in just 24 hours.
