After Night Summit startups descended to the iconic Hong Kong eatery Tsui Wah for where HK people go after a night of networking and drinking - sponsored by IBM.
Knox College students in StartUp Term work on their projects in the second week of the program that simulates the experience of working in a high-tech startup business incubator. Startup Weekend Des Moines is a community building startup event. Participants get together with local developers, marketers, designers, enthusiasts and start companies in just 54 hours.
The participants that attend a Startup Weekend decide what they want to tackle over the weekend and come out at the end with several developed companies or projects. Attendees are responsible for bringing the same desire and passion to the project and walk out of the room with the task at hand, in a short 54 hours. Sound intense? It is.
This year Spindustry Strategy hosted the event at their offices. Many thanks to Spindustry Strategy for providing space for the weekend and all the hard work by Shane Reiser for organizing the event.
