Be bright sunny and positive. Know your roots. Spread seeds of happiness. Rise, shine and hold your head up high. Keep on growing. Even on the darkest days stand tall and find the sunlight.

Another Oldie!!! Trying to sort through some of my older images and quite liked this one!

Many thanks for all the lovely comments and faves on my images. They are very much appreciated.

The meaning of tulips is generally symbolic of perfect love

Tulips are by far my most favourite flower.

I am fascinated by their beauty from the moment they start to bloom and open, to way beyond their prime.

As these flowers mature, the colours intensify and they start taking on delightful new formations...

You are welcome to view my flower album.

A pile of moraine with trees standing against the winds that blow down this glacial Welsh Valley. It's sheep country!

The Afon Fathew valley - the unseen river a mere trickle in comparison to the size of the hills on either side. A scene I see most mornings while on my morning walk.

Another shot with the 2003 Panasonic FX1 camera - I rather like this old camera

I realized after posting that I probably should have put the top ornament with the hook area pointing upwards instead of down but it is what it is now. Haha!

Hi All!

First, I wish each and every one of you a Happy New Year 2019! Thank you for sharing and caring over the years! I've learned so much from interacting with you, and from studying your wonderful pieces of art! I am so very blessed.

The image is from last year's Archives. This is a White-breasted Nuthatch, a friendly little bird that I wanted to share with you.

This Great Blue Heron was a real poser.

Sometimes you just have to try a little harder than those around you :)

Not far from the Musquash Head Light is the Troy Trail. This is near the start, or end (depends on whichaway yer headin'.) The trail goes to Black Beach from here. Lots of old weathered, grey tree sculptures resting where they died. Beautiful coastline, beautiful day.

Kristin workin' on the piece for the Old Crow, Stand Tall show.

I had lots of good memories with France, and I am pleased that I could be in that dream land and watched this fantastic architecture as well as other iconic places by my own eyes. Today I felt sorry for Paris when I heard the news, a part of me was broken, frustrated, angry, upset,... I was just speechless...

Stay strong Paris!

Canada's largest church lies on Westmount's Summit in Montreal, Quebec. Construction of the oratory spanned between 1904 and 1967 and receives more than 2 million visitors and pilgrims every year.

I once heard that no building in Montreal was allowed to be build taller than the cross on top of the oratory's dome.

All I ask is for you to stay strong for me, even when all the pillars of my world threaten to crumble...

I am fascinated by this small stand of trees, rejected by the loggers that passed through a few years ago. I have various shots of them, but I think each has it's own appeal. I hope you enjoy them as much as I.

I've shot the DC fireworks on the Potomac or at Iwo Jima through the years. Tonight I took the camera off course and re-focused my eye on people standing on the Memorial Bridge. I worked quickly to capture these images at the end of the DC Fireworks show. The fireworks is such a treat to the eyes! Amazing, inspiring and it leaves you absolutley breathless... Congratulations to Brad for finishing his 365 today and to Darren for wrapping his year up last Friday. You have both been an inspiration over these past few months and I look forward to more from each of you.

Same trees, different view and colour. Left over after clearcutting. Trees are the lungs of the earth, and we're cutting them all down. So sad.
