I wanted to try out a standing desk and made this relatively cheaply. It is basically a solid core wood door, some Ikea desk legs and your typical hardware store shelving unit.

My small home office is a standing desk ($19 IKEA table-top bolted to the brick wall!) which holds my MacBook Pro, a Mighty Mouse, Stay Puft, and a couple other things. The books below are sitting on a mid-century modern credenza that I picked up off of Craigslist about a year ago.

I tried use my narrow space efficiently.
Main feature is the loft storage built by ikea stolmen pole and some wood materials.
I built them without fixing to the room because room is for rent.

・Desk can be used on recliner chair
・Standing-desk can be folding
・Monitor (of the standing-desk) can be watched by anywhere in the room. (Using Monitor arm)

i sometimes like to work stood up, and came across a post on instructables with one of these so i made my own. there is a slight wobble but that's due to the cantilever on the tripod that allows you to flip to portrait a small block of wood to steady this and i will have a much more solid feeling desk. it will also be useful as a table for sitting while using the laptop

This is my standing desk. It's two filing cabinets, edge-on. A two drawer and a three drawer are the perfect height for my hands hovering a little above my keyboard, and my two monitors respectively. I needed a no-cost desk as I work in a school and this is the perfect solution for me.
