All seems set for a round of speed skating at the Vlaardingervaart, the old shipping canal that connects Vlaardingen with Schipluiden and Delft.
Unfortunately the ice is still thin and temperatures are already on the rise again, so probably no show soon.

re-edited for 2023 Both photos were shot at the same f-stop and shutter speed, yet this photo is definitely sharper. Proof that camera shake can ruin critical focus and how different lighting can effect the sharpness of your image.
...another stage has ended by crossing this line on the end of a week! How many stages will be there? Will all of them have a beautiful sundown?
