A view captured off Valletta of Fort St Angelo (to the left) - the first Head Quarters on the island utilised by the Knights of Malta upon their arrival here way back in the year 1530 - Adjacent (to the right) is Senglea. These two structures were pivotal to expel the siege of the Ottoman Empire in 1565; historically known as - The Great Siege of Malta.

Thank you for your time to view.

St Aloysius Church is a Roman Catholic Parish church in the Garnethill area of Glasgow in Scotland. It is the only church in Glasgow to be run by the Society of Jesus. It is situated on the corner of Hill Street and Rose Street and is next door to St Aloysius' College, Glasgow, having a close relationship with the school. When it was built, it was the only Catholic church in Glasgow to have a tower. It is modelled on Namur Cathedral in Belgium and is a Category A listed building.

The tiny church of St Peter’s in Heysham is dramatically perched on a cliffside. This Grade I Listed church must have one of the most picturesque settings in the country, looking out over Morecambe Bay to the panorama of the Lakeland hills.

There are remains some of the Anglo-Saxon building from around 800AD but most of the present building dates from the 14thC and from around 1500. Heysham july 2022

A bit of an experiment using a new technique on an old subject.

Here was the scene downhill and not far from where I photographed the frost flowers-- a very brisk 24 degrees, with steam rising from the river in the early freeze. Silver Mines Recreation Area near Fredericktown, Missouri

Song of the day: In 1985, Canada's music legends came together to form Northern Lights for Africa, for African relief. This song, however, still stands today as I see my country and the world changing...

Some of you may have heard of the famous Cape Breton Celtic band called the Barra MacNeils without knowing what the name actually signifies. Historically the MacNeil’s were the chief clan of the Isle of Barra a Western Scottish Island that saw a lot of its population immigrate to other British colonies during the 17th and 18th centuries including PEI. St. Patrick's the grand dame captured here is a far cry from the log structure that the first 20+ families from Barra erected here in 1790, it also has the distinction of being the first church in Canada to be dedicated to St Patrick.

Petite-Rivière-Saint-François is a little towin in Quebec, Canada, along the Saint Lawrence River. It is home to Le Massif ski resort, a beautiful mountain with gorgeous views. I got away for a few days to ski. I always think I'm going to be out there taking more pictures but the skiing just takes over.

Hope you like it.
