Czarnków is a town on the Noteć River, with a population of around 12,000. residents.
The first mentions of Czarnków come from the 12th century (chronicle of Gallus Anonymus), but it is probably a mistake or perhaps a forgery. The heart of the whole city was the Market Square. Wooden buildings were gradually replaced with brick buildings. The present urban layout of the city is historic and dates back to the Middle Ages. The buildings of the market square with the Town Hall date back to the 19th and 20th centuries, and the southern frontage is the Church of St. Mary Magdalene from the 16th century (visible in the photo). In the foreground, there is a sculpture of a historical figure, the medieval chronicler Jan of Czarnków.

This red line drawing on a saucer is my ceramic find for Macro Monday theme ceramic, frame 1-1/2 inch square or 38mm square.
the title will surprise you, but two walls of this room consist of thousands of small squares, they start in black and have upwards a smaller and smaller distance, until they touch and thereby white squares in the black arise to then become a completely black surface, after a certain height then again with white squares and distance is begun until the white squares touch again and thereby in their center again black squares arise, which then move away from each other in the distance again, until the surface becomes completely white again ... our eye can not recognize the squares from afar and conveys us round points ...
for photographing it is not an easy task, because interferences arise and moiré ... The purpose of all this is to open the space and create a kind of distant horizon ... the larger the space and distance, the better the effect ...
Exhibition Carsten Nicolai. Parallax Symmetry ... the first I saw with a white floor, everything was white except the art, the best exhibition I ever saw ...

A building in town. They turned an old mill into a shopping centre of sorts. Small scale but way cool.

Krzywiń is a small town in the province Greater Poland, with approximately 1,700 inhabitants. It was a private clergy town belonging to the Benedictine abbot in Lubin. The first preserved mention of Krzywiń as a town comes from 1272. In 1382, the city was destroyed during domestic fights, the reconstruction took place half a century later. In 1447, the location privilege was renewed. The center of the development was a Market Square with a town hall (the present one comes from 1905) in the south-eastern frontage. In the middle of the Market Square there is a statue of St. Wawrzyniec street and the frontages are built with houses from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
The market was revitalized in 2014 and is a major tourist attraction.

Another Staircase Shot of the Lenbach House in Munich.
For me the attracting Issues were the regularity of Lines, the Patterns and the Light Condition in the Staircase. Enjoy!
The Lenbachhaus in Munich contains an art museum and is part of Munich's "Kunstareal" (the "art area").
The city of Munich acquired the building in 1924 and opened a museum there in 1929. The Lenbachhaus was expanded between 1927 and 1929 by Hans Grässel and again between 1969 and 1972 by Heinrich Volbehr and Rudolf Thönessen. The latest wing was closed to the public in 2009 to allow the expansion and restoration of the Lenbachhaus by Norman Foster; the 1972 extension was demolished to make way for the new building. The museum reopened in May 2013. The architect placed the new main entrance on Museumsplatz in front of the Propylaea. The new facade, clad in metal tubes made of an alloy of copper and aluminum, will weather with time.

Macro Monday's and the theme of "Green Yellow Squares".
While searching for a subject I located these chews in our local supermarket. I thought there might be Yellow sweets inside but that was one colour absent in both packs that I bought so I decided to use a Yellow background Instead.
Two sweets together looked cubical shaped so I decided to use this with a third standing next to them. They are still in their wrappers due to the sweet itself looking only a relatively faint colour compared to the rest of the flavours.
I'm a little bit concerned that with all the cubes I'm seeing this week along with the Greens we could end up being assimilated.

From 1892 until 1938, the Grand Hotel and Opera House operated on this site on the northeast corner of Jacksonville's downtown square, known as Central Park. It began screening movies in the 1920’s and was renamed Illinois Theatre in 1927.
Operated by Fox Theatres, a nationwide chain of theaters in the United States, the Illinois Theatre was closed in early-1938. The Grand Hotel and Opera House were totally remodeled and a new Illinois Theatre, designed by the Boller Brothers in Art Deco style, opened on March 9. 1939 with Lorretta Young in “Wife, Husband and Friend”.
In the 1970’s the Illinois Theatre was taken over by Kerasotes Theatre and was twinned. It was being operated by an independent operator in 2008, screening first-run features. A third screen was created in the former balcony, and the cinema is equipped with digital projection. In 2015 it was converted into a 5-screen theatre. In December 2018 it was taken over by Eisentraut Theatre.
The curved section of the theater seen in this view encompasses the theater lobby and features typical Art Deco vertical brick projections, which are repeated on the upper level on the west façade. While the original marquee has been replaced by a newer, metal marquee, and other fenestration changes have occurred, the theater still retains much of its original Art Deco integrity.
The Illinois Theatre continues to maintain its high level of visual appeal on the Square. The theatre is contributing to the Jacksonville Downtown Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.
Founded in 1825, the City of Jacksonville is the seat of Morgan County. The central Illinois city had a population of 17,616 at the 2020 census.

I wasn't sure about posting the shots I took here. Firstly, it has been done so many times and much better by so many others. Secondly, the wind was so strong on the morning I visited, there was a lot of movement in the foliage giving a blurry effect in the autumnal shades at the top of the frame.
In the end, I decided to post a couple as I was unlikely to ever get there again! So here is a square of the distinctive Beech Trees at Upper Moor, contrasting starkly with the columnar straightness of the opposing stands of Pine trees.
