For the tenth year in a row, community-minded youth from Killarney Secondary’s Student Street Squad group visited the Downtown Eastside the morning of Wednesday, December 5 to hand out 500 care packages to the less fortunate.
The Killarney Student Street Squad is made up of about 60 students in Grades 8-12 who take on projects benefitting the community as well as the school. Every year, the Student Street Squad fundraises to put together care packages for residents of the Downtown Eastside.
Here's some crappy photos I took when I rode my bike back from Maggie's mom's house on Shepard Road in Saint Paul.

There was a fire in the woods down by the river. Not sure what their plan was here. About two minutes later I saw a late model Audi get head-on smashed by a left turning Trailblazer at the I-35E on ramp. I didn't take any pictures of it, but ouch.
