Eddie Wuerch is a DBA, developer, and trainer specializing in SQL Server for over ten of the twenty years he has spent in IT. Eddie is currently the tech lead of the DBA team at ExactTarget, a leading SaaS ESP located in Indianapolis. Eddie and his team design and manage the many multi-terabyte 24x7 SQL Server database clusters that form the foundation of the ExactTarget application. I don't know.
One thing I do know is in the places I've seen SQLServer used this wasn't a problem. In StackOverflow #17~ itc.conversationsnetwork.org/shows/detail3792.html Atwood mentions using LINQ a lot, instead of raw SQL or code they have written. I'm wary of generated code from MS tools. That one sums it all up. But does it summarise the problem? SQLServer works well enough out of the box.
