Beautiful bright crocus have been popping up across the lawn. After a little rain the drops were clinging onto the petals.

A tiny flower, and yet so beautiful...

Mother Nature is a tease. All of our spring blooms are over a month late. Trees haven't even budded out. It snowed on Monday and is supposed to be 80 this weekend. So, we will have to wait and see if we get spring or not. Blooms or not?

This is ever so nice.

When we have had such a long winter it sure is nice to see the tiny treasures we often neglect and take for granted.

It makes us appreciate it even more.

Well, that's how we unfortunately are made.

Have a glorious week!

Common Bluets typically have a four lobe flower. This five lobe flower mutation appears to be an exception. Similar to finding a four leaf clover among three leaf clovers.
