Since I had an extra day off this weekend and no real plans for today I decided to shoot while the sun was coming up this morning.
It never changes, my fascination with the lawn as the day comes awake. Especially a dewy lawn, so by 6 this morning I was out enjoying the tranquillity that my neighbourhood only possesses before the world wakes up and taking in the glimmer of the dew on the grass.
Not a bad way to start a day, especially a Monday away from work!

This BBQ joint is just down the street from me. It is at a local farm and is served from a food truck. While I have never been, it is quite popular in the summertime with all of the tourists heading to the beach!
On a lovely spring day during the breeding season, an Atlantic puffin on the cliffs at Sumburgh Head, surrounded by a field of blooming sea pinks, raises its wings in what appears to be a joyful celebration of the day. Shetland, Scotland.
